Very chocolaty, very alcoholy, and very yummy.  Serve this tasty treat warm with a cup of coffee and you’ll be sure to get plenty of raised eye-brows and “Mmmmm”s from the crowd.  A nice twist on a sourthern classic. more…

A great tasting sourdough sandwich loaded with meat, cheese and grilled veggies.  This is another favorite in my house, though not everyone likes the veggies – kids can be so picky sometimes.  Depending on how you grill them, these can be ready very quickly.  The ingredients call for separate onions and peppers, I usually cheat and buy a pack of pre-cut veggies.  In the Austin area grocery stores they are labeled as “Fajita Vegetables”. more…

A sweet, fruity, crumbly desert.  Takes a bit of prep time, and 45 minutes of torture while you have to smell it baking, but trust me when I say it is so worth it.  This was an immediate favorite when I made it.  Hope you enjoy. more…
